Matthew (Fizz) & Sarah met in September of 2005 and became friends. When Sarah decided in 2007 to move away for the summer to train horses for a nationally known horse trainer, it was too much for Fizz to handle and decided she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. When Fizz finally convinced to Sarah come back to her home in Iowa, they were inseparable. Getting engaged Christmas day of 2008, they wed on September 5, 2009.
Fizz works on a city street department near the family farm and Sarah is employed by a International seed company as an Administrative Specialist. Both growing up with farming/country life backgrounds, they enjoy raising hay for their livestock, as well as providing for others. In future, they are aiming to up the livestock quantity to chickens, hogs, and more!
As Fizz is growing his Belted Galloway cow/calf herd, Sarah is raising American Quarter Horses and hopes to show nationally in the future with her future prospects. In partnership with her mother, they own a Palomino broodmare that produced a high quality all-around Palomino stud colt by So Riveting this spring that she hopes to show at the Palomino World Show in the coming years. Gracie, a bay Zips Chocolate Chip mare, is in foal to a Macs Good N Plenty foal due April of 2013. With much persuasion, Sarah will have Fizz talked into raising "Beltie" club calves in the future, as he has great experience from years past.
